The new robot is design for the removal of sprues and parts from the injection-molding machine. The solid construction allows fast movement with low vibration for precise removal.

The new mold is design to produce plastic parts that will be sensor housings. To increase productivity the new tool is made with four impressions. The beryllium bronze pins is driven by hydraulic cylinder, which is attached to the mold by a guiding plate

The reason that we used this type of injection mold – with slides and cam pins is that the desired parts have undercuts that could not be form with common injection mold.

The new mold is design to produce plastic cable glands with external metric thread M12.
